About Grete

Contact Me

Grete Rydning lives and works in Oslo. Her paintings are shaped by a lifelong relationship with mountain landscapes, and by the tension between observation and abstraction. She is interested in how the mountain can feel both concrete and almost symbolic: a body of stone, light, silence, and time.
